The most important ingredient to a succesful wedding day is choosing the right champagne!

We can supply champagne to suit your budget and requirements.

If you intend to provide Champagne throughout the reception then consumption will greatly depend on the age of your guests.  Although loosely a guide would be two glasses per person this can vary enormously and many “youngsters” are determined to drink a whole bottle each so if your budget and generosity goes this far then order accordingly. Usually a standard sized champagne bottle holds around 6 glasses of champagne.

It will also depend how long the reception is before sitting down or having speeches.  If you have a 2/3 hour gap between your guests first arriving and sitting down for a meal then on a hot summer day many guests will consume nearly a bottle each!  You may wish to provide Bucks Fizz [orange juice and Champagne] to slow the process down or even a sparkling wine…

For weddings we also supply quality red and white wines to suit your budget and even if you are booked at a hotel or similar it is quite often worth looking at their “corkage” charge as it can be worthwhile ordering from us for them to open and pour.

It is also a very nice touch to sometimes have bigger size bottles, magnums etc and even the larger size ones as it adds enormously to the party feeling. Exspecially when positioned on the center of the guests table, it creates a great centrepiece and allows the guests to help thereselves perhaps in your case budgeting for one magnum per table.

Christenings

At Christenings it is nice to have the very large bottles, Salmanazars and Methuselars and remember the rule is the bottle should be bigger than the baby…..

I still have my Veuve Clicquot Salmanazar from my first son’s christening 18 years ago and these big bottles are a continuous source of enjoyment.

Party Events

For other events such as receptions, office parties, celebrations etc we can supply the fizz you want along with glass hire where appropriate which we can send out and then collect by courier afterwards.

Obviously Christmas and New Year are the times when most Champagne gets drunk and it is best to discuss your requirements early with us as December gets very busy.

Outside events

Many of our customers like seeing us at outside events and we participate in one nearly every weekend during the summer season.

During 2007 we were at Weston Park for the Country House Car Boot sale, Charterhouse School and Eastnor Castle with Jools Holland, Ragley Hall with the Bootleg Beatles, The Shrewsbury Flower Show, Katie Mellua at The Quarry plus many other events including coming up The Ludlow Food festival.
