The Contract

Once Love Champagne receives an order via this website, an offer to purchase is constituted on the part of the customer. Only when LoveChampagne confirms this order either verbally or in writing shall a contract exist between Love Champagne and the customer.

Prices provided in a written quotation to the customer from Love Champagne, as a result of an inquiry to this web site shall be valid for 30 days from the date of the written quotation

Shipping and Delivery

Standard delivery is a 48 hour service throughout England, Wales and Southern Scotland with only a few exceptions.

When payment is made by credit or debit card in most cases your wine will arrive the next working day, however during exceptionally busy periods please allow up to 5 working days for your wines to arrive. It is important to remember that each order is bespoke and requires careful attention when being packaged.

Mainland delivery service is normally provided via our logistics company and will be delivered by courier. We endeavour to dispatch your champagnes or sparkling wines the same working day as receiving your order, however we do employ a 01.00pm cut-off time. Any orders placed after this time will be dispatched on the next working day due to the time and care we take to package the goods.

Deliveries by courier are not normally made on Saturday [ except by special request and cost] Sundays and Bank Holidays. Should there be a delay in normal delivery this will be advised on the website. If this applies, your order may still be placed and will be processed for delivery when normal delivery scheduling resumes.

If you have special requests such as timed delivery or to a particular person then we will try and quote and provide for this. We will endeavour to use the best and most propitious method of delivery for you

If goods are delivered to an incorrect address as a result of incorrect information provided by the customer then the customer will be responsible for the cost of replacement goods and the cost of delivering the replacement goods to the correct address. For large orders we ask that you contact us at least 7 days in advance to enable us to prepare your order.

Breakages

The customer will responsible for checking their goods upon receipt of delivery. Should there be any defect or shortage in the order, to prevent fraudulent damage claims, we would ask that you make us aware of a problem within 24 hours or receipt of delivery either by email or by telephone and subsequently confirmed in writing. Breakages, defects and shortage, reported later than this will not be entered into.

Quality

We offer a guarantee of quality for 365 days.

If any champagne of ours proves to be corked or in any other way faulty as a result of the champagne process, we will generally replace it or if you prefer, issue a refund or credit note to the value of the purchase price, to a maximum of 2 opened bottles per case or 1 vintage champagne, and replace all other unopened bottles from the case during this period. We have great confidence in the champagne we sell and do not expect any quality issues with the champagne.  After the initial 30 days period please contact us and we will at our discretion endeavour to rectify them. Other than this, we place a great deal of trust in the integrity of our customers. The only thing we ask is that common sense should prevail in deciding whether what is in the bottle is truly faulty due to the process that the champagne is made or simple due to the result of poor storage conditions of the customers.

If you have any question or comments regarding out guarantee policy, or wish to report a faulty champagne or sparkling wine then, please contact us by letter or email and we will do our best to respond as quickly as possible.

Returns Policy

Goods should be returned to Love Champagne in exactly the same condition in which they were supplied, and with bottles unopened, labels unmarked and at the customer's expense.

The actual; price paid for the Champagne will thn be refunded immediately by the same methos used for payment. I.e If paid by Debit card then the same card and method will be used for refunds.  This policy does not apply to goods sent outside the EU and for goods returned more than 14 days after delivery.

Liability Limitations

We will not be liable for any loss or damage caused by us or our employees or agents is circumstances where;

1. Loss or damage was foreseeable to both parties when the contract was formed;
2. Loss or damage was not caused by any breach on the part of the supplier
3. Loss or damage relating to business and or/non customers

We will not be liable for loss or damage caused by the customer handling the products.  In particular we will not be liable for spillages or breakages.

Customers should also be aware of the following inherent risks and warnings;

1. Alcohol should be consumed in moderation
2. A case of wine is heavy so extra care should be taken when lifting it. If you are concerned about the weight we advise you transfer the bottles 1 or 2 at a time.
3. Champagnes can be volatile due to the build up of gasses so extra care should be taken when opening these such as pointing the cork of the bottle away from breakables or people where harm could be caused.

Purchasing Champagne

We accept orders both online and by telephone. We offer champagne for sale in quantities of a minimum of one bottle.

When you want to make a purchase, browse our catalogue, add them to the shopping basket and click to go to the checkout. You order is then encrypted and passed to the Secure World Pay Payment server for payment. After you have provided card and address details in order to satisfy the order, the card details are security checked with the relevant card issuer and you will receive a message in your browser window advising that the transaction is complete.

All customers must be aged 18 years and older and by placing the order you confirm that you are at least 18 years old. We supply to the U.K only.

The contract between us comes into force when we confirm your order by email communication.

The prices published on our website are for bottles of size 75cl unless otherwise stated. Prices are U.K duty paid and include VAT at 17.5%. Prices are subject to change in line with currency movement, tax and duty changes in supply and transportation cost or for any other reason. We will normally absorb minor fluctuations in costs. In the event of significant prices alterations, which would result in extra cost to you the customer, we will of course contact you.

Payments should normally be with the order. We accept payment by MasterCard, Visa, Solo, Switch and American Express and cash on collection or cash on delivery. In some case we may ask for a deposit before delivery if the order is to be paid COD. We will not charge your account until the goods ordered have been confirmed and allocated.

Errors and omissions are excepted throughout the website, including pricing.
